This place has an old school feel and makes biscuits and gravy just like Nana used to make. Great prices and fast service, you just can't beat it!

Fabulous diner food and FAST! They keep your coffee cup filled and they pay attention to all your needs. The food is delicious, the portions are more than enough and the staff is way friendly. Haven't visited in a while until today, but they are just as great, if not better, than I remember.

Great mom and pop breakfast/lunch place. Have been here for breakfast on the weekends several times. It can get crowded but you don't usually have to wait more than a few minutes for a table for two. They also have diner seating. Waitresses are very attentive and your coffee cup will not go empty. Food is down home cooking with generous portions. Would recommend.

Hadnt been here in awhile, like years. The place was clean, the waitress friendly, and the food came out fast. Only went here because IHOP was packed and didnt feel like waiting. Down to earth crowd and the prices are right. The food was excellent btw.

Dotties is one of those places you often see here in Florida, tucked into an older shopping center space. My wife and I have been here twice for Breakfast, and I wish we had tried it sooner. We are snowbirds in the area and will be heading back home soon. It's quite convenient to where we are staying. The service is prompt and friendly. The waitresses are moving constantly keeping water glasses and coffee cups full. It has quite a bit of seating although you wouldn't expect it from the outside. We have gotten there just before the 9:30 am rush and were seated promptly. By the time we left 35 minutes later the place was full. Since this is in an area with mostly locals, this is a good sign. The food is good, substantial and decently priced. Indeed we both have ordered a good breakfast w/out a drink each time and gotten out for under $12. I've tried the Omelets, Pancakes, and French toast and find them to be very good. The Omelets in particular are exactly the way I like them Fluffy and filled nicely with good ingredients specifically a good quality cheese, not that flat piece of processed crap they call american cheese. The Pancakes are fairly thick and are a bit on the doughy side, and have a hint of vanilla. The french toast is good too, thinner with again a hint of vanilla and some other spice perhaps cinnamon. A little disappointed there was no butter on the table only margarine as someone already pointed out Bacon was good also, and eggs are cooked perfectly to order. We may try this sometime for dinner. I would expect it to be good there too. Perhaps I may bump this up to 4. It is a cheerful and pleasant place, so far I've found nothing outstanding but so far it is all good, and I would have no trouble recommending it if your in the area.

It's nice to find a place you don't have to wait 30 minutes to be seated on a Sunday. I had the eggs Benedict which was ok. My brother had biscuits and gravy which was pretty good. I will be back.

I had the multi-grain pancakes, they were very good. They also make good omelets. Toast was slightly burnt. The problem I had here was I was told that the "butter" was on the table. When I looked for it, it was in a basket with the half-and-half. It was marked spread with a lot of ingredients: water, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, salt, hydrogenated soybean oil (I guess not partially this time?), vegetable mono and dglycerides, pectin and sodium alginate, potassium sorbate, etc. etc. etc. Not the best butter around, But the word that really got me were KEEP REFRIGERATED. Oops!! Health Code Violation Dottie! Please fix this. Other than that this restaurant was ok, kind of dated interior.

As far as greasy spoon diners go, this one is my favorite. Its old school country cooking, the restaurant looks right out of an early 70's movie and the best part is the waitresses there know how to do things. Bread with butter, coffee with cream, and they're really fast. I can sit down, order inside of a minute or two and have food in front of me before 5. Even when they're really busy! The only downside is that if you are under 40, you will be the youngest person in the room. They do a lot of breakfast business so they close at 2, but they serve breakfast all day!
